Enhancement of mixed-use real estate for social and commercial use

A mixed-use building purchased in 2020, now comprising an immigration solicitor’s office on the ground floor with three existing flats arranged over the first, second and third floors. These flats were leased to an emergency accommodation operator offering much needed social housing solutions to homeless individuals and families on behalf of local authorities. Planning permission was successfully granted for the demolition of a redundant art studio at the rear of the building and the erection of an architecturally designed two-bedroom eco-friendly mews house offered for private rent. Through a successful asset management strategy and granting of the planning consent, Purpose has substantially increased the value of the building.
